Spoonbread is described as a light fluffy "cornbread souffle". So easy you can just mix with water & bake in a casserole dish. Traditionally served as a side dish with butter. Refrigerate leftover spoonbread and it becomes an excellent complement to a breakfast of ham & eggs. Simply slice and brown in a skillet with a touch of butter.
